Above is our animatic which we created on final cut pro as part of our planning to ensure we had a rough idea of what we wanted our video to entail.
I used media such as Prezi in order to create my pitch, and also formatted a few of my blogs. I found all the media technologies such as final cut pro, quark, photoshop etc, so convenient as they were fast and effective and allowed me to pin point and do everything I wanted to achieve. Moreover simple things such as the original artists website allowed me to have an insight of what kind of things are expected when marketing a new group. I also was able to be influenced by some of their mise en scene in their music video.
Final cut pro was also essential when creating the sliding shot effect when the trumpet was pushing in the next scene. This program really allowed us to expand our ideas and achieve things we at first presumed would be extremely difficult.
We used the digital cameras to film all the footage, the still cameras were used to take behind the scenes shots and also the anamatic, memory cards and readers were used to transfer the files on to the mac before editing.
