Sitting on the stairs. Looking at each other playful shows their close relationship
They both pull similar facial expressions, showing their similar characteristics, almost as if they know how the other is feeling.
Both playful together. Close eye contact showing their friendship.
Arm around the shoulder shot. Showing their comfortable around each other whilst showing their fun side.
Again standing next to each other, showing their friendship
Again sat with each other and eye contact
Walking together
Greeting shows their respect for each other.
Standing together again
Sat together at end of the video
Sat together at the end also, this shows their bond throughout the video as they are rarely without each other.
In the video they are together, so we made sure they were together on the front panel. Standing together shows their close relationship in both media products therefore showing an obvious link to the target audience for recognition of the artists. Furthermore, in both the media products the shot type of the CD cover is a replica of one shown frequently in the video.
Additionally, in the video they wear hats, also in the video they are in hats showing a clear visual link between the two products, also showing a link to genre.
Conventional to wear these baseball hats, as shown, also wearing it backwards is a popular theme in urban culture.
The graffiti in the video matches the graffiti font shown on the album cover and advertisement. I used this font as it was a clear reflection of the location used in the video. I thought the graffiti skate park illustrated a place where young people would hang out therefore being appropriate for the artist representation and continuing it with the font created a link between the two as i knew i wanted my background to be white (I could have used a graffiti background)
The text in the advertisement and CD cover create a link with the graffiti background in the video.

The colour scheme is the same in both the advertisement and the CD cover therefore creating a link. Also the fonts are the same, two fonts used and the same style. The album cover is on the advertisement also , therefore it would easy for the audience to see recognise the artist's the poster is promoting.
The fonts are the same in both media products.
The boxes used are in both the outside and inside panels of the digipak. Also, the boxes are used in the advertisement.
The genre conventions are similar in both media products and the target audience (young males 14 -15) would relate. For example the use of mise en scene with the hats, creates a link between the fans and the artists as they are a popular part of urban culture. Furthermore black and red fonts with the white background are highly conventional. By making clear links to the conventions of the artist genre, the audience can directly see how the artists fit into this genre through their representations.
