Planning for Music Video - Props
We all agreed the video should just express young people a we so we decided to use silly props to emphasis this.
The song is called get down with the trumpets so it would be senseless of us not to use a trumpet, after speaking to our lovely media teacher tony he was able to order us a toy trumpet.
In the original video the trumpet is brass and real, however ours is silver and a toy which I think is an added bonus as it already differs us from the original video and artist.
In the lyrics the artists say 'you might here me make a racket like wilson' Wilson is the name of a global sporting goods manufacture, known for making tennis rackets. With this information I decided a badminton racket should be used as irony, and it adds to 'double trouble's' care free attitude as they don't care what kind of racket is used. The racket is used at the beginning of the scene, where Adam plays it as if it were a violin
There were other props we wanted to incorporate in order to make the video more illustrative.
Lyrics - Props
'We're Jammin' - A jam Jar
'When the sun comes through we're still alcys' - Alcohol bottle
'Running round like we're brainless' - Fake brain from the science department
'Put your bras in the air' - A brassiere
