Planning for Music Video - New Idea

During our 4th filming session we came up with an idea for the still image being turned into actual film.
The original idea was influenced by The Game - Dreams video. Dr Dre holds up a CD to the camera which has a picture of The Game on it, and the closer it gets to the lense, The Game gets up and walks, hence still image turning real.

Our original idea was similar, as we also wanted to show a hand/side of someones body looking at a CD which they then show to the camera, and the camera would zoom into this, and when in frame, the image would turn to life.

So our new idea... instead of using the CD as a prop for the still image turning into real life, we thought why not use the computer in the studio...

We'll use the same main idea, but someone holding a CD will be replaced  by Double Trouble just watching the Computer screen.

As i said in my previous blog 'The thought behind studio, was to show the boys thinking of lyrics, then writing and preforming them, almost like a story' And this beginning bit pieces it all together. Over the shoulder shot of Double Trouble sitting in front of the screen in the studio with their lyrics book near them to show they're in the process of making a song, then the still image appears on the screen, the camera focuses on the screen and then zooms in, and our video begins. At the end it comes back to the studio where a still image will appear back on the screen then pan out to show Double Trouble sitting there with a full lyrics book, and then they celebrate finishing their song by messing around. By doing this it brings some structure to the video, and it also tells a story. Double Trouble are in the studio trying to write their latest song 'Get Down With The Trumpets' When they see themselves on a TV and supposedly the idea and lyrics just come to them.
